Hey, its me again! It's also week 7 which means that midterms are slowly upon us. Luckily for me I don't have legit midterms to take for my last semester. However, I still have the stress of my Senior design project, balancing a social life and sleep. Stay tuned for the last two months. Stress levels will be at an all time high.
Weekend Doody Friday/Saturday
My weekend consisted of RA duties and stressful last minute Airbnb bookings. My last weekend duty (Woo!) as an RA was rather quiet which is what every RA hopes for. For those of you who don't know what that is, you're basically on call for part of the weekend and need to carry a duty phone on you. If called, you need to handle any situation residents throw at you. I'm talking to you Freshmen! While nothing dire really happened, I woke up to a knock on my door and it was a fellow resident awkwardly asking me to assist him with an issue. Mind you, this was around 3-4 am so you best believe I was thrilled. All I will say is that you should always stay at a friend's place after drinking so you don't walk into the wrong room and sleep in some random resident's bed. Take that as a piece of friendly advice. Weekend duties can be wildcards though. Either you sleep like a baby through the night or its constant chaos and it feels like the world is ending. I've had my fair share of dealing with absolutely nothing (which I pray for every time) or I am running in my dorm or to other buildings trying to handle RA related issues in the middle of the night. All I can say is that it's somewhat bittersweet that I have finished one of the biggest roles in ResLife but a lot of good, bad, and funny memories were made. Also, that ringtone from the phone gives me PTSD. Never again.Sunday Stress
Homework, homework, homework. Sunday is "productive" day as you all know, but most of it really was booking Airbnbs. Another piece of friendly advice, never book places when you leave for your trip 2 weeks before! Simple. I will be spending Spring Break in LA visiting one of my best friends on her Hollywood Semester. The places we booked were really nice but somewhat pricy. But the price you pay is what you get. It's also due to our lack of motivation to book two months in advanced. Luckily, we got this really nice place near Hollywood and The Grove. I can't wait to look at things I can't afford! Oh well, you can still have fun on a budget. I love cheap thrills...anyway, I've never been to LA before nor have I ever booked an Airbnb so this should be very fun. I'm using the term fun loosely because I am going with another good friend and we have never traveled by ourselves before. I'm just really curious to see if my friends and I will run into the Kardashians or something or maybe some famous vlogger...I really do want to see some random dude walking down the street talking into a camera though. I'll definitely blog about my experience in the next week and a half! I'm excited to share it you you guys!
Anyways, signing off. Until then, I will be preparing for Spring Break and continuing Senior stuff. Warm weather and beaches are calling my name!

Crazy to think we are already almost at midterm. This semester has flown by. I am right there with ya and ready for spring break. Hope LA is fun and that you run into the Kardashians.
