Travel day

Hello all! Hope everyone is recovering well from their spring breaks. We're getting so close to the end of the year. By this time it feels repetitive since this is my fourth year at Bradley. It's always after spring break that the year snowballs and before we know it, the year is over. This time around it will be different for us Seniors because we won't be returning. Depending on how you look at it, this is the light at the end of the tunnel for some. For me, it's a mix of emotions. I'm ready to graduate, but I know I will miss the memories I've made in my shirt time here.  Zoo Day Anyhow, this past weekend was mainly traveling. Friday was my last full day in LA for Spring Break. I spent most of the day at the LA Zoo while looking at exotic animals. I personal favorite was watching a pack of flamingos. Fun fact of the blog: a pack of flamingos is called a flamboyance. Other animals I saw included, chimpanzees, giraffes, and other aquatic animals. Heres m...

Vacay in LA

UPDATE: I have been got in the "friendly" game of assassins...by my own partner! I wasn't even his target, however, he snatched the spoon out of my hands and the person after me swooped in and tapped me with the spoon (aka the murder weapon). I'm not mad, It's fine. Peep the Hollywood sign. It's actually pretty tiny Andddd we're back! I am currently in the midst of my Spring Break and its busy busy. This year, I finally get to spend my Spring break somewhere other than Illinois. A couple of my best friends hit up Los Angeles, California and it's been quite the time! I currently have two and a half days until I go back to campus and I am dreading every moment of it. On top of that, I still have some homework and Senior project to worry about but I know I will we procrastinating until last minute. Welp, I'm just going to have to wing it. Let Spring Break Commence! First off, I just want to thank my professors from the bottom...

Is it Spring Break Yet?

Midterms are upon us, Spring break is close, the dreaded wait has officially begun. For some of us, the wait is almost over, while others have a little while longer to go. The final week of classes until Spring Break has got me antsy, but its almost over! I am very excited to visit LA and blog about it in the coming weeks. This week is nothing but patience and getting on with classes. The stress of Senior project is getting stronger but progress is being made. I feel a bit more happier knowing I am making progress however, there still is a lot that needs to be done. Once Spring break is over, we're in the final stretch. My weekend was basically prepping a portfolio website together and working on Senior project. I never really explained what my project was so I'll give a brief description! Saturday & Sunday  My Senior graphic design class were challenged in creating our own briefs which will eventually be showcased this May at The Prairie Center of the Arts as ...

Weekly College Life: Weekend Edition

Hey, its me again! It's also week 7 which means that midterms are slowly upon us. Luckily for me I don't have legit midterms to take for my last semester. However, I still have the stress of my Senior design project, balancing a social life and sleep. Stay tuned for the last two months. Stress levels will be at an all time high. Weekend Doody Friday/Saturday   My weekend consisted of RA duties and stressful last minute Airbnb bookings. My last weekend duty ( Woo! ) as an RA was rather quiet which is what every RA hopes for.  For those of you who don't know what that is, you're basically on call for part of the weekend and need to carry a duty phone on you. If called, you need to handle any situation residents throw at you. I'm talking to you Freshmen! While nothing dire really happened, I woke up to a knock on my door and it was a fellow resident awkwardly asking me to assist him with an issue. Mind you, this was around 3-4 am so you best believe I was...

Hump dayyyyy

UPDATE: I will now be changing my blogs to a Day in the Week of College Student because I feel like there's more content to share with you all rather than a day. This is just to spice things up a bit so I don't bore you guys. Sure, my life is just as "cool" as the next guy's, but there is more opportunity for everyone to relate to something I have to share. Any way I'll still be posting fun little GIFs of the day depending on when its posted! It's hump day! I hope all of you are enjoying your Wednesdays. This past week, was pretty productive, more so being active rather than homework, but what else is new? While the weather was crummy, I was still able to make the most of it. On Saturday, I went to Zion with some friends to work on school work. To be honest, I really go there for the aesthetic and drinking hot chocolate because I don't drink coffee. I like to think I can fit in, so hot chocolate is my coffee. Also, I highly recommend their avoca...

#tuesdaythoughts

Tuesday thoughts: I actually hate Tuesdays more than Mondays. I always have. For some reason I feel like Tuesday is the longest day in the week. Probably because all my longest classes are always on Tuesday. Somehow, I managed to have all my longest classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at my time at College but I give Thursday the exception since it the day before Friday.  Anyway, enough about my strong hate for Tuesdays. Let's get on with how my Tuesday is actually going. It's week four of  classes and this semester is flying by. Graduation can't come soon enough. I only had two classes today but they're my longest ones. Luckily I have a three hour window before my next one so I spent that time trying to be productive. I wasn't feeling up for studying in my room and I was definitely not going to the library so I ended up going to Markin instead. When I want somewhere to focus, Markin or Westlake is one of my favorite places to study because having a good chan...

"Sunday Funday"

Ayoo! Welcome back to my "exciting" life! This past Sunday I literally stayed indoors. I mean, could you blame me? The weather has been pretty crummy the past few days. Anyway, this week involved stressing over homework, deadlines, and job applications. Senior year isn't necessarily a breeze for those of you who thought it would be, but I guess I'm being a bit dramatic.   Although Sundays are meant for productivity, I used it for being a couch potato. And you know what? That's totally okay because self-care! Woo! Currently, I am watching the Netflix original, "You" and it's a pretty good show if you like stalkers. So that was most of my Sunday. To be fair, I had full intentions of doing homework but why do it today when you have tomorrow? Yea, never listen to that piece of advice unless you know how you work.  Finally, I got to end my day watching the Grammy's with some good pals (That's when I finally got to my homework, in case...
